The entire Port of Catoosa was evacuated Wednesday morning due to a tank catching fire.

According to Tulsa Fire Department Public Information Officer Andy Little, a large, cylindrical tank at Holly Frontier caught fire around 9 a.m. which prompted evacuations across the entire facility.

Little said workers were performing maintenance inside the tank when the tank somehow caught fire.

Little said that the evacuations were ordered because the tank previously held insulation material which is extremely toxic when burned.
