On Tuesday night, multiple stores in Center City Philadelphia were looted, including an Apple store, Lululemon, Footlocker, and a Fine Wine & Good Spirits store situated in Lawncrest, located in the northeast part of the city.

Authorities suspect that the looters took advantage of a prior protest stemming from a judge’s decision to dismiss charges on Tuesday in the fatal police shooting of Eddie Irizarry, a man wielding a knife, which took place six months ago.

From WCAU-TC:

Large crowds of juveniles looted multiple stores across Center City Philadelphia Tuesday night, police said.

Among the stores looted were the Footlocker and the Apple store near 15th and Chestnut and the Lululemon in Center City.

A police officer said over 100 juveniles looted the Lululemon.

Video circulating on the internet shows groups of masked BLM protestors making off with stolen merchandise. These incidents occurred mere hours following Judge Wendy L. Pew’s verdict, which declared Philadelphia Police officer Mark Dial innocent of all charges related to the fatal shooting of Irizarry.
