Hunter Biden Indicted on Nine New Counts Related to Tax Fraud by Federal Grand Jury

On Thursday, CNN reported that the DOJ has brought forth new criminal charges against Hunter Biden.

Hunter Biden was indicted on 9 counts, filed in California, including charges for tax evasion, failure to file or pay taxes, and submitting false or fraudulent tax returns.

The indictment outlined a “four-year scheme” to avoid paying over $1.4 million in taxes from 2016 to 2019, along with filing false tax returns.

If found guilty, Hunter Biden faces a 17-year prison sentence.

In September, Hunter Biden was indicted on felony gun charges.

According to ABC News, the charges included “one count of False Statement in Purchase of a Firearm, one count of False Statement Related to Information Required to be Kept By Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Person who is an Unlawful User of or Addicted to a Controlled Substance.”

Hunter’s then-lover and deceased brother’s widow discarded the gun. Hunter himself acknowledged this during an online conversation with his family when they confronted him regarding inappropriate behavior in the presence of a child.

Hunter Biden’s sweetheart deal on tax-related misdemeanor charges and diversion agreement collapsed over the summer.

Federal prosecutors stated that Hunter Biden’s plea deal was at an impasse, following the announcement of a special counsel, indicating that the case is on track for trial, as per a court filing.
