The bill, AB 2098, will allow the California Medical Board to revoke the license of physicians who deviate from the Biden regime approved Covid-19 narrative.

From AB 2098:

This bill would designate the dissemination of misinformation or disinformation related to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, or “COVID-19”, as unprofessional conduct. The bill would also make findings and declarations in this regard.

(f) The Federation of State Medical Boards has released a statement warning that physicians who engage in the dissemination of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation or disinformation risk losing their medical license, and that physicians have a duty to provide their patients with accurate, science-based information.

Dr. Drew weighed in on Twitter:

A group of physicians called Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC) have filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction against this bill, arguing that it would intimidate physicians into silence instead of advising their patients.

Pediatric Physician, Dr. Angie Farella, explained on Telegram how AB 2098 makes it a crime for doctors to give informed consent.

“California AB 2098 is the epitome of medical censorship. This bill basically makes it a crime for a physician to give informed consent in regards to any vaccines, even if the patient asks a question to the physician.”

Another advocacy group, Californians for Good Governance, argued that the crisis is not over misinformation, but that there is a “crisis of credibility”, saying “The public has lost faith in the medical establishment, and censorship will not rebuild that trust.”
