Joe Biden experienced yet another “senior moment” while addressing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Thursday.

During his speech at the Hispanic Caucus’s annual gala, Joe Biden made a regrettable error of confusing minority lawmakers in Congress. This latest verbal slip-up was broadcast on the White House’s official feed.

Joe Biden praised Sister Norma Pimental, the distinguished recipient of the gala award and executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley. Curiously, he also expressed admiration for the “Congressional Black Caucus.”

“I know Sister Norma lives the lessons nuns taught me growing up. Lessons based on the Gospel of Matthew: feed the hungry, care for the sick, welcome strangers. They echo what my dad taught me, and I mean this sincerely, my dad used to say, ‘Everyone, everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.’”

Adding, “The Congressional Black Caucus embodies all those values.”

Watch:

The gaffes have quickly piled up for Joe Biden during his short time as resident of the White House.

The most concerning, though, are the lies he tells regarding certain aspects of his life in order to make a point, often when addressing people who have faced difficult situations. Following the devastating fires in Maui, Joe Biden compared that tragedy, which claimed at least 100 lives, to a minor kitchen fire at his Delaware home.

“We have a little sense, Jill and I, of what it’s like to lose a home. Years ago, now 15 years ago… lightning struck… and hit a wire that came up underneath our home into the heating ducts, er, air conditioning ducts. To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette, and my cat,” Joe Biden told Maui fire victims.

Watch:

The problematic thing is that it’s a blatant lie. It was just a small kitchen fire that was put out within 20 minutes.

This particular lie is one of his favorites that he has told many times.
