Bud Light’s woke VP of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, has taken a leave of absence after the company faced severe backlash for their ad featuring trans Tik Tok star Dylan Mulvaney.

Todd Allen, VP of global marketing for Budweiser, will replace Alissa Heinerscheid as Vice President of marketing for the brand, according to a report from AdAge.

From the AdAge report:

The brewer has also streamlined its marketing function to reduce layers “so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brand’s activities,” a company spokesperson said in a statement, adding that “these steps will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and on our country.”

The statement noted that “we communicated some next steps with our internal teams and wholesaler partners,” adding that “we made it clear that the safety and welfare of our employees and our partners is our top priority.”

As Breaking Digest reported, Heinerscheid recently joined a podcast where she trashed Bud Light and its traditional customers while pushing the left’s woke agenda.

During the podcast, Heinerscheid, a woke ivy league grad, called the beer’s traditional customers “fratty” and “kind of out-of-touch”.

Bud Light’s disastrous decision to partner with Dylan Mulvaney led to a massive boycott of Budweiser products.

Notable celebrities such as Kid Rock, John Rich, Travis Tritt, Riley Green and Brantley Gilbert have withdrawn their support for the beer brand.

Travis Tritt announced that he is removing all Anheuser-Busch products from his tour over the Mulvaney partnership, John Rich told Tucker Carlson that he would stop serving Bud Light at his popular Redneck Riviera bars, and Kid Rock posted a video of himself shooting at cases of Bud Light, while declaring “F— Bud Light and f— Anheuser-Busch.”

On Friday night in Nashville, Riley Green swapped the “Bud Light” lyric in his song to a less woke one.

The song, I Wish Grandpas Never Died, features an homage to Bud light with the line, “And coolers never run out of cold Bud Light.”

While performing the song Friday night, Green replaced Bud Light with Coors Light in the lyrics. The crowd went wild.

Gilbert smashed a Bud Light that was tossed to him during a concert at the Indian Mountain ATV Park in Piedmont, Alabama, over the weekend.

“F— that!” Gilbert exclaimed after realizing what brand of beer he was holding.
