Due to the growing crisis at the southern border, Governor Abbott has taken unprecedented measures.

As of Tuesday, November 15th, Abbott has declared an invasion, invoking the U.S. and Texas Constitutions to fight back against the growing migrant issue on the border.

Frankly, it’s far past time.

Sec. Mayorkas continues to claim that the southern border is secure.

The flood of migrants at the border continued in October with nearly 300,000 contacts/gotaways reported by Customs and Border Patrol.

Conservatives urged their own state governments to take similar action to repel the unmitigated number of migrants pouring into their states.

Anthony Sabatini points out the magnitude of the problem in Florida:

Daily Caller reported:

Abbott has long argued that the Biden administration hasn’t done its part to address the illegal migration influx, and in response he mobilized state resources in March 2021 as part of his “Operation Lone Star” to secure the border.

Several Texas counties for months sought to pressure Abbott, who recently won reelection for the governorship, to make the declaration of invasion.

Just The News noted:

Abbott previously garnered national headlines by busing thousands of illegal migrants to blue cities like Washington DC, New York and Chicago but his new action Tuesday marked a major escalation that carries both political and legal consequences.
