Breaking Digest reported yesterday that a campaign canvasser for Marco Rubio was brutally beaten by four leftist animals for wearing a Rubio t-shirt and a DeSantis hat.

The canvasser, who has since been identified as Chris Monzon, was knocking on doors and passing out fliers for Sen. Rubio.

The suspects reportedly told Monzon that Republicans weren’t allowed in their neighborhood.

Monzon suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw, a fractured orbital bone, and other underlying injuries. He will need facial reconstructive surgery to repair the damage.

Rubio tweeted several pictures of the victim, showing him bloodied and swollen in the back of an ambulance and in a hospital bed.

According to a police report published by Local 10 News, one suspect in the attack was identified as Javier Lopez, 25, of Hialeah. He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery for his involvement in the attack.

A second man has been arrested in the brutal beating.

Jonathan Casanova, 27, who has been charged with aggravated battery for the incident, reportedly told Monzon that he couldn’t pass through the area because he was a Republican.

NBC 6 reported:

Jonathan Casanova, 27, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated battery in the Sunday incident, Hialeah Police officials said Tuesday night.

According to an arrest report, Casanova and 22-year-old Javier Lopez were blocking the sidewalk where 27-year-old Christopher Monzon was passing out fliers for Republican candidates Rubio and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

According to the below video from CBS Miami, Casanova kicked Monzon in the head and then ordered his German Shepherd dogs to bite and attack him.
