On Saturday, New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon Building, in order to shut down Congress as Democrats tried to buy more time to read the new CR, according to Fox News’ Chad Pergram.
Bowman activated the alarm in a move aimed at thwarting a critical vote to fund the government and keep it open.

“USCP criminal investigation unit is questioning Bowman,” Pergram noted. The USCP is the Capitol Police.
The Capitol Police released a photo of Bowman pulling the fire alarm.
