In a passionate outburst outside a New York City courtroom, President Trump erupted over the ongoing legal proceedings against him, calling the entire system corrupt. Trump began his remarks by expressing his frustration with being “stuck” to New York due to the ongoing trial, noting his preference for campaigning in states like Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Ohio.

Trump blasted the judge’s ruling, which valued his Mar-a-Lago property at $18 million, a figure vastly different from Trump’s own assessment of $1.8 billion. This ruling was a part of a civil case spearheaded by New York Attorney General Letitia James, accusing Trump and his company of deceiving banks and insurance firms by inflating the value of assets, thereby exaggerating his net worth on official documents.

Trump didn’t mince words in connecting his legal troubles to political motives. He asserted that Attorney General James is colluding with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., with the clear goal of keeping him “very busy.”

“But I’m stuck here because I have a corrupt attorney general that communicates with the DOJ in Washington to keep me nice and busy, because I’m leading Biden in the polls by a lot,” Trump fumed.  “That’s all it is, this is election interference. They made up a fake case, they’re fraudulent people. And the judge already knows what he’s gonna do.”

Trump went on to criticize Judge Engoron, saying, “He’s a Democrat judge out of the clubhouses. He’s controlled, and it’s a shame.”

“I know this city better than anybody knows this city,” Trump stated. “There’s nobody who knows it like I do… What’s going on here is a shame.”

“Our whole system is corrupt. This is corrupt. Atlanta is corrupt. And what’s coming out of DC is corrupt.”
