Trump attended the Iowa State Fair over the weekend to connect with the people of Iowa.
The enthusiastic crowd greeted him with a rockstar’s welcome, expressing their support with chants of “Four more years!”
Trump took questions from the press on the tarmac in Des Moines.
President Trump has consistently maintained this stance when addressing the media’s questions about the possibility of him entering a plea agreement for any of the ongoing cases against him.
In response to the question, “Is there any chance you take a plea deal in Georgia?” President Trump retorted, “We did nothing wrong. We don’t ever take plea deals. It’s a wise guy question.”
Trump continued, “It’s called election interference. Do you know what that is? These indictments are being put out by Biden who can’t even put two sentences together. This is Joe Biden because he can’t win the election by himself! He can’t win the election based on votes so what he did was he got the attorney general to do it!”
Why would anyone accept a plea deal if they are innocent?

From Forbes:
Though the reporter asked about the election interference case in Georgia, Trump used the question to critique his three indictments, claiming they were “brought out by Biden, who can’t even put two sentences together.”
More from Daily Mail:
If Trump is indicted in Georgia, it would follow his federal indictment earlier this month related to his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Unlike with federal convictions, however, if re-elected president, Trump could not attempt to pardon himself if convicted of state crimes in Georgia.
He could also undergo a state trial if he’s in the Oval Office. Traditionally, the Justice Department doesn’t prosecute presidents but state attorneys have no such rule.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, known for her Marxist beliefs, is preparing to present her questionable investigation findings regarding Trump’s actions to contest the 2020 election to a grand jury in the coming week.
Former Republican Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan revealed during a conversation with CNN on Saturday that he was summoned to testify before the grand jury on Tuesday, focusing on Trump’s efforts to challenge the 2020 election results.
