On Saturday, social media erupted with reactions from leftists after President Trump issued a warning about a potential “bloodbath” in the automobile industry if Joe Biden wins the November election.

Trump delivered these remarks during a rally held in Dayton, Ohio, where he highlighted the potential consequences for the automobile industry if he is not re-elected.

“Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath. That’s going to be the least of it,” Trump said. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.”

“If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country,” he added.

While Trump was clearly referring to the impact on American workers in the automobile industry, leftists on X immediately twisted his words, claiming that they were a threat of civil war.

Biden and Harris went as far as issuing a campaign statement regarding the remark.

It’s hard to believe the media is still perpetuating blatant and easily refutable hoaxes in 2024.

Thankfully, there were other accounts available to expose the hoax and serve as a reminder of why the mainstream media cannot be trusted.

President Trump’s team also issued a response to the blatant misinformation campaign against him with the following statement:

Biz Pac Review provided additional insight into the “bloodbath” hoax:

Corporate media malignment set “bloodbath” trending in a blatant attempt to drum up a “hoax in real-time” against former President Donald Trump.

The years removed from “very fine people on both sides” haven’t seen a change in tactics with coverage of the GOP leader from his friends in fake news. If anything, the latest example after a campaign stop in Dayton, Ohio showed they’ve only grown shrewder in their shamelessness.

Saturday, ahead of the Buckeye State’s primary election, Trump joined Senate hopeful Bernie Moreno and other Republican figures on stage in the midst of one of his lengthy stump speeches. During his remarks, the president highlighted differing approaches to China’s impact on the American economy by himself and incumbent President Joe Biden prompting a slew of narrative-supporting headlines.

As the social media account End Wokeness described with a side-by-side of Trump’s actual remarks and the clickbait coverage, “We are witnessing the invention of the ‘bloodbath’ hoax in real-time…Unfortunately for them, we have X.”

Examples included CBS News, Rolling Stone and NBC News, which had titled an article, “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election,” only to clarify in the subheading that he was speaking “in the context of auto manufacturing.”
