An illegal alien from Lebanon confessed to being a member of Hezbollah, the terrorist organization, upon his arrest at the US border close to El Paso, Texas.
Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, was detained by Border Patrol on March 9th. During interrogation, he openly declared his intention: “I’m going to try to make a bomb.”
His intended destination was New York, where he planned to execute his nefarious plan.
Additionally, Ebbadi admitted to undergoing extensive training with Hezbollah over several years and playing an active role in safeguarding weapons for the terrorist group.

New York Post reported:
A Lebanese migrant who was caught sneaking over the border admitted he’s a member of Hezbollah, he hoped to make a bomb, and his destination was New York, The Post can reveal.
Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, was caught by border patrol on March 9 near El Paso, Texas. While in custody he asked what he was doing in the US, to which he replied: “I’m going to try to make a bomb,” according to a Border Patrol document exclusively obtained by The Post.
In a subsequent sworn interview, Ebbadi said he had trained with Hezbollah for seven years and served as an active member guarding weapons locations for another four years, according to internal ICE documents.
According to the New York Post, “Ebbadi’s training focused on ‘jihad’ and killing people that are ‘not Muslim.’

Over the past three years, an estimated 11 million (likely much more) illegal aliens have crossed the border due to Joe Biden’s open border policies, a number equivalent to the population of 41 individual states. With such a significant influx of illegal border crossings, the likelihood of terrorists entering the US is virtually guaranteed.
According to the CBP, in November alone, 17 illegals encountered at the border were on the FBI’s terror watchlist. This likely represents only a fraction of the actual number, as many cases may go undetected.
Furthermore, reports indicate that terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah are seeking entry into the US through the southern border.
