Bud Light continues to face backlash after its ad featuring trans Tik Tok star Dylan Mulvaney.
On Friday night in Nashville, country music star Riley Green decided to swap the “Bud Light” lyric in his song to a less woke one.
The song I Wish Grandpas Never Died features an homage to Bud light with the line, “And coolers never run out of cold Bud Light.”
In Nashville Friday night, while performing the song Green replaced Bud Light with Coors Light in the lyrics.
The crowd LOVED it.
Watch:
One Twitter user noted Coors Light had participated in Gay Pride events. Recognizing and supporting homosexual relationships between consenting adults is NOT the same as pushing “sex change” surgery onto children, trans activists mocking females with over-the-top parodies, or biological males infiltrating female sports.
Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth finally broke his silence with a lengthy statement on Friday that he likely hoped would diminish the animosity toward Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch.
It did not go over well with conservative Twitter users.
Critics took a blow torch to Whitworth’s statement, with the majority of them concluding that he used a lot of words to say “nothing”.
