The results of the Democratic primary in American Samoa are in, and Joe Biden has been defeated in this unincorporated territory of the United States by a candidate named Jason Palmer.

According to Decision Desk Headquarters, the American Samoa Democrat Party declared Jason Palmer as the winner of the American Samoa Democratic Caucus.

The territory holds a total of 11 delegates in the Democratic National Convention.

Palmer, who is relatively unknown to most Americans, is an investor and entrepreneur with a background in working for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
