Rep. Jim Jordan held a press conference on Friday morning prior to the third House Speaker vote.
Despite his immense popularity with conservative and MAGA-supporters, there were still 22 RINO holdouts who were refusing to vote for Jordan.
Jordan told reporters on Friday morning, “The American people are thirsty for change, they are hungry for leadership, and frankly, they know the White House cannot provide it, they know the Senate won’t lead, and they are looking for House Republicans to step up.”
House Republicans are set to cast their votes once more for the Speaker today. Those who continue to vote against Jordan’s speakership need to prepare for a career change, as their constituents will remember their disregard for the will of the people.
Jim Jordan emphasized, “Our plan is to elect a speaker this weekend.”
