Twitter CEO Elon Musk made an announcement declaring that two terms commonly used by the radical LGBTQ left, “cis” and “cisgender,” would now be considered slurs on the platform. Consequently, users who use these terms could potentially face suspension.
Merriam Webster defines “Cisgender” as the following:
: of, relating to, or being a person whose gender identity corresponds with the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth
This decision was prompted by a conservative user, James Esses, reporting instances of bullying by radical trans activists on the platform.
Elon tweeted, “Repeated, targeted harassment against any account will cause the harassing accounts to receive, at minimum, temporary suspensions. The words “cis” or “cisgender” are considered slurs on this platform.”
Esses replied to Musk, saying, “Thank you for standing up for reality, Elon.”
After Musk’s tweet went viral, Esses was subjected to further hatred from members of the “compassionate and tolerant” alphabet mafia.
Esses tweeted, “Today I have been bombarded with death wishes and messages calling me a ‘faggot’ and ‘cissy’. All because I dared to reject an ideological label being imposed upon me. These people, who are so quick to throw the word ‘bigot’, need to take a long, hard look in the mirror.”
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling joined in the conversation, tweeting, “‘Cis’ is ideological language, signifying belief in the unfalsifiable concept of gender identity. You have a perfect right to believe in unprovable essences that may or may not match the sexed body, but the rest of us have a right to disagree, and to refuse to adopt your jargon.”
The news was met with the expected reaction from woke trans extremists.
To be fair, leftists aren’t used to be told there is anything they can’t say.
