The Maui wildfires have tragically claimed the lives of at least 36 individuals.
The wildfires have completely devastated the town of Lahaina, leaving nothing but smoldering ruins in its wake.
According to authorities, people jumped from cliffs into the ocean to escape the fire and smoke.
Powerful winds allegedly fueled the fire.
Early on Wednesday, residents of West Maui were forced to evacuate.
Observers described the scene as “apocalyptic”.

The famous Banyan tree in Lahaina, which has 47 trunks and holds the title of the largest in the United States, has been scorched by the wildfires.
The Maui Wildfire Relief Fund has been launch by Harvest Church
Donations to Harvest Church will go to the following:

- Helping first responders as they provide needed medical care to those injured by the fires
