In a significant development in the 2024 Republican presidential nomination race, Vivek Ramaswamy announced that he is suspending his campaign and giving his full endorsement to President Trump.
Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and author, had entered the presidential race. However, his campaign encountered numerous challenges in gaining traction among the diverse array of Republican candidates, particularly after facing recent criticism from President Trump.
Vivek finished in fourth place in the Iowa caucus, securing 8% of the vote.
Here was Vivek’s official announcement on X:
This entire campaign is about speaking the TRUTH. We did not achieve our goal tonight & we need an America-First patriot in the White House. The people spoke loud & clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything…— Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) January 16, 2024
Vivek is heading to New Hampshire, where reports indicate that he will be participating in campaign activities alongside President Trump and is expected to make an appearance at a MAGA Rally.
