Hawaii has scheduled a Ukraine Independence Day Event on August 26th at Magic Island to generate funds and awareness for the War in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Maui is burnt to a crisp and the town of Lahaina has been essentially wiped off of the map. The recovery of the charred remains of the victims in Lahaina is ongoing, with a staggering number of over 1,000 people still missing, including children.
One would think they could at least postpone the fundraiser for Ukraine until they have recovered all of their dead, but these are leftists we’re dealing with.

Ukraine Independence Day Event on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Magic Island, Ala Moana Beach Park from 10 am to 5 pm.
Organizer with Hawaii Stands with Ukraine, Lara Palafox was on Good Morning Hawaii and talked about the Independence Day Event that will include traditional food, drink plus entertainment.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Maui disaster relief fund.
The event is hosted by Hawaii Stands with Ukraine and the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America.
How nice of them to share “a portion” of the proceeds for the people of Maui.
