Following the recent successful boycotts of Target and Bud Light, Americans have another company to break.
According to a report from the Daily Mail Thursday, cosmetics giant Maybelline has taken a questionable marketing approach by featuring unattractive bearded men in their promotions for a new product.
Initially, Maybelline had makeup artist Zak Taylor endorse a recently launched summer product. Later, they featured Ryan Vita, who is labeled as a “Maybelline Partner,” to promote a new lipstick on their Instagram page.

In an Amazon Prime Day advertisement, Ryan Vita can be seen applying vibrant pink lipstick. Maybelline used the hashtag #maybellinepartner to tag and associate Vita with their campaign.

As expected, social media users expressed their outrage towards Maybelline for featuring ugly bearded men in their beauty product promotions. Here are a few comments directed at them on their Instagram account:
