During an appearance on Newsmax, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) presented compelling evidence suggesting the involvement of the Biden Crime Family in an influence peddling scheme with the Chinese government. Comer went so far as to state that, in his opinion, the situation “borders on treason.”
Last week, it was revealed that several Biden family members received payments through foreign shell corporations, amounting to a value of approximately $20 to $30 million. However, Comer now anticipates that the committee’s investigation will uncover an even greater sum of up to $40 million, which was allegedly paid to the Biden family in exchange for wielding influence.
When asked by Newsmax host Rob Schmitt if any of the payments benefited the Chinese Communist Party or other adversarial nations, Comer responded affirmatively, stating, “I think so, I think they all were.” He further highlighted a significant decision made by Joe Biden early in his residency, where he canceled an initiative known as the “China initiative.”
Comer proceeded to elaborate on how the FBI had been actively investigating cases of intellectual property theft from American universities, a problem that originated during the Obama Administration. According to federal investigators, they discovered a pattern wherein Chinese nationals legally entered the country, registered as students, and then proceeded to transmit valuable intellectual property and sensitive information back to China.
“One of the first things Joe Biden did was he ended [the China initiative], he ended it, and he said it was on the basis of racial profiling and discrimination,” Comer explained. “The only country that benefited from that would be the Chinese Communist Party.”
Additionally, Comer highlighted a recently revealed WhatsApp message sent by Hunter Biden to his Chinese business associate, Henry Zhao. At the time of the message, Zhao was working for CEFC Energy, a Chinese energy conglomerate known to have connections with the Chinese government.
In the message, Hunter Biden absolutely stated that his father was in the room, “sitting next to” him, when he threatened “destroy” Zhao if payments were not made.
“The whole business model for the Bidens with CEFC was to try to help China gain access, to reduce the barriers of entry for China,” Comer said. “Because after China bought into the Smithfield food processing facility, the United States government really ramped up the barriers to entry for China.”
“So one of the things, and you’re gonna hear somebody talk about this in a deposition very soon, that the Bidens agreed to accept money from China to help them invest in the United States,” he continued.
Schmitt commented that the dealings appear to amount to “traitorous behavior,” and Comer responded by saying, “Well first of all, they’re an unregistered foreign agent because they’re clearly serving as essentially a lobbyist for China. And that’s a huge violation, that’s one of the things the IRS whistleblower said that the Bidens could have been prosecuted of, especially the president’s son, was being an unregistered foreign agent.”
“It borders on treason, in my opinion,” Comer added.
