On Thursday night, President Trump revealed on Truth Social that his attorneys had been informed by the corrupt Biden administration that he has been indicted over the Mar-a-Lago “boxes hoax,” and that he will be arraigned on Tuesday.
Trump asserts that the documents in question were declassified prior to his departure from office.

Yesterday, Kari Lake issued an official statement, calling on the Republican Party to “unite to save our country from this historic corruption and work to return President Donald J. Trump to the White House in 2024,” following news that the President was indicted on seven charges in Jack Smith’s classified documents case.
Lake tweeted out President Trump’s Truth Social posts about his indictment, with the following comment:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized the federal indictment of President Trump, utilizing his statement as part of his ongoing campaign. DeSantis took to his Twitter account on Thursday evening to express his concerns about the “weaponization of federal law enforcement.”
The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society. We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation. Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter?
Of course, DeSantis swiftly shifted focus to his own campaign.
