According to a recent report from the Daily Mail, the Edgartown Police Department omitted the reason for the 911 call in Barack Obama’s private chef Tafari Campbell’s death.

Tafari Campbell, 45, tragically died while paddleboarding on Great Edgartown Pond in Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday night. Although he was not alone at the time of the incident, local police are withholding the identity of the other person involved.

On Sunday at 7:46 p.m., police logged a 911 call regarding the incident, but oddly, they didn’t provide a reason for the call. Every other call made on Sunday evening had a specified reason. The call originated from Wilson’s Landing, a paddle board launch site located around two miles from the Obamas’ Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

“Police haven’t released the 911 call yet or said who made the call, but the logs also state that the call came from an address two miles away from the Obama home,” Fox News host Jesse Watters said.

From Daily Mail:

Martha’s Vineyard police left the reason for the 911 call reporting Obama private chef Tafari Campbell’s drowning blank in official logs from the night of the accident, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Tafari, 45, fell into the water on Sunday night while paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond. He was not on the water alone, but police refuse to name the person he was with.

At 7.46pm, a 911 call was made to report that he had fallen in and could not make it back to the surface.

That call is noted in Edgartown Police Department’s logs, but the reason behind it is left noticeably blank. The reason for every other call for that night is given.

The origin of the call is also listed as Wilson’s Landing – a paddle board launch site, some two miles from the Obamas’ house on Turkeyland Cove, where Massachusetts State Police say the first call came from.

The property boasts a private beach from which a paddle board can be easily launched. At the time of the drowning, Barack and Michelle were out of the house.

According to Daily Mail, a female made the 911 call and as of 8:18 pm, she was in a boat, actively searching for Campbell.

Adding to the mystery, the origin of the 911 call was listed as Wilson’s Landing, a popular paddle board launch site located about two miles from the Obama residence on Turkeyland Cove. This information is in contrast to Massachusetts State Police records, which indicate that the initial call came from the Obamas’ residence.

The conflicting details only deepen the mystery surrounding the circumstances of Campbell’s death. With the identity of the other paddleboarder still unknown, numerous questions remain unanswered. The blank entry in the police records for the 911 call and the discrepancies concerning its origin are aspects that demand clarification.

Per Daily Mail, there was significant activity around the Obama residence on the night of the incident, with a separate medical emergency reported at a nearby residence at 11:40 pm.

Breaking Digest previously reported that Campbell took swimming lessons in 2019, contradicting initial assumptions that Campbell may have drowned due to an inability to swim.

Initially, Obama’s office claimed they were not present at the residence during the incident, but they have since changed their story, acknowledging they were indeed on the property.

It seems like a fairly straightforward detail to remember, but the Obamas’ employees struggled to provide an accurate answer regarding Barack and Michelle’s whereabouts at the time of the incident. Not surprisingly, it turns out that the initial statement was the polar opposite of the truth.

On Tuesday, the Obamas clarified that they were present at the property when Tafari Campbell passed away. The Obamas’ employees had a little trouble getting that very simple fact straight.

Police confirmed Campbell was visiting Martha’s Vineyard and was employed by the Obamas at the time of his death.

From The Independent:

Massachusetts State Police said on Monday that neither the former president nor former first lady Michelle were at the home at the time of the tragedy.

However, The Office of Barack and Michelle Obama later clarified that they were in Martha’s Vineyard at the time but were just not at the home when the tragedy unfolded.

The Independent has contacted the Obamas’ office for more details.

On Sunday evening, police were called after Campbell was seen struggling in the water while paddleboarding near the former first family’s home, state police said.
