Police have recovered a body in the search for missing Princeton University student, Misrach Ewunetie, six days after she vanished on her way home from an event.
The 20-year-old’s body was found around 1 p.m. “outside on the Facilities grounds behind the tennis courts” by a facilities employee, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.
“There were no obvious signs of injury, and her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature,” prosecutors said.
An autopsy will be conducted, prosecutors said.
The school’s Vice President for Campus Life, W. Rochelle Calhoun, called Ewunetie’s death an “unthinkable tragedy,” in a statement posted on the school’s website.
