During the House Judiciary Committee session on Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida grilled corrupt FBI Director Christopher Wray regarding WhatsApp messages exchanged between Hunter Biden and the CEO of a Beijing-based asset management firm. Gaetz directly asked Wray for his thoughts on the messages, to which Wray responded, “I’m not going to get into commenting on that.”
Gaetz then raised the concern of Wray being seemingly uninterested in the matter and questioned whether he was protecting the Bidens. In response, Wray claimed, unconvincingly, that the FBI is not in the business of protecting any individuals, including the Bidens.
Wray appeared visibly upset during the exchange with Gaetz.

Gaetz confronted Wray over the revelation that one million FISA queries were conducted unlawfully. Shockingly, no individuals have faced consequences or been held accountable for these actions.

After a rigorous round of questioning from Gaetz, Wray attempted to get the last word, but Gaetz wasn’t having any of that.
Matt Gaetz: Instead of straight answers, you give answers that later the court deems are not true. And then at the end of the day you won’t criticize and obvious shakedown when it’s directly in front of us. And it appears as though you’re whitewashing the conduct of corrupt people.
Chris Wray: Respectfully, Congressman, in your home state of Florida the number of people applying to come work for us and devote their lives coming to work for us is up over 100 percent.
Matt Gaetz: I’m deeply proud of them and they deserve better than you!

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) pressed FBI Director Christopher Wray on whether his agency is protecting President Joe Biden and his family during testimony Wednesday.
At the hearing, Wray and Gaetz got into a heated argument when the Florida Republican started accusing Wray of allowing misconduct at his agency by protecting the Bidens and not fully investigating Hunter Biden’s alleged wrongdoings.
Wray said he is “absolutely not” protecting the Biden family, a statement Gaetz didn’t believe and pushed back on.
