Biden is the first U.S. president in 22 years to break from the tradition of visiting the sites of the 9/11 attacks on its anniversary.
Joe Biden arrived in Alaska on Friday afternoon to deliver remarks on the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Despite the nearly 3,000 American lives lost on September 11, 2001, Biden began his speech by focusing on himself and cracking jokes.
Biden also lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attacks, which is a shameless lie.
“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden said.
