Independent voters changed their support from John Fetterman to Dr. Oz after watching Tuesday night’s debate.
As Breaking Digest reported, the debate was a disaster for Fetterman.
Fetterman used a monitor to help him through the debate and he still got lost and struggled to speak coherent sentences.
Fetterman did so badly that even liberal reporters criticized his performance.
“This is a disaster for Fetterman,” far-left Time reporter Charlotte Alter said Tuesday night.
NewsnNation’s Leland Vittert had this to say: “We said this would be unlike any debate you have ever seen, and we perhaps understated just how different this would be. Clearly, the biggest issue was John Fetterman’s health and his ability both to comprehend speech and then to speak coherently on the issues of the day.”
Even Chris Cuomo at NewsNation couldn’t come up with anything positive to say: “Voters, I think, saw things that will definitely change the state of this race.”
Independent voters interviewed after the debate said they changed their mind and will vote for Oz after realizing Fetterman is unable to speak coherent sentences.
Fetterman’s poor performance was shocking even to those who were expecting him to do poorly.
“So, I was definitely — I’m an independent, by the way — I was definitely leaning towards Fetterman,” said Eric, the first viewer Cuomo interviewed. “And I think I have totally changed to the Oz side.”
“I felt that Fetterman just looked like he didn’t have command of the facts,” he added when Cuomo asked him to explain the change. “I do think his condition, unfortunately, it’s going to affect his ability to do the job.”
Oz, he said, came across well in the debate, but “I didn’t see any plans coming out of Fetterman,” he concluded.
Cuomo then turned his attention to a woman named Jessica, a self-described registered Democrat who said that abortion was the issue she was most “focused” on. She was pleasantly surprised, she said, to hear Oz say that he would not support a federal ban on abortion.
She was also surprised at Fetterman, but in a less positive way.
“It was kind of shocking to see Fetterman,” she said. “I will say that I think that he improved through the course of the debate. I think that he kind of got his footing, and it’s good to hear from experts who think that he might continue to improve over the course of the next few months.”
“I’m not 100 percent sure where I’m going to go on Election Day,” she said, “but I do know for sure that I’m voting for [Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh] Shapiro.”

An Independent voter told Fox News that he will be voting for Oz after watching Tuesday night’s debate.
“It was very, very difficult to watch. Fetterman is not physically capable of serving in the US Senate,” voter Marc Goldberg said.
“I’m a registered Independent… I don’t know how anybody in their right mind, who are in the middle like me, could possibly vote for John Fetterman,” he said.
