Inflation is surging, while wages stagnate.

Mortgage rates have hit their highest in two decades while home values across the country drop rapidly.

Waves of mass layoffs have swept major U.S. companies and experts warn of a bigger wave of mass layoffs in the near future.

The Biden administration continues to gaslight Americans, insisting that everything is fine, the American economy is “strong as Hell”.

On Monday, just days before the Thanksgiving holiday, Mississippi-based United Furniture Industries fired its entire workforce.

Around 2,700 workers lost their jobs, according to a report from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.

The company, which had become one of the largest furniture businesses in the country, sent a memo via email and text message to workers late Monday night and instructed them not to report to work the next morning.

In a follow-up email, United Furniture Industries said the layoff is “expected to be permanent and all benefits will be terminated immediately without provision of COBRA.”

Many of the employees were asleep when the emails were sent and didn’t see them before heading to their shifts on Tuesday.

The reason for the layoffs was “unforeseen business circumstances.”

According Freightwaves, employees received the following statement:

At the instruction of the board of directors of United Furniture Industries Inc. and all subsidiaries, we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen business circumstances, the company has been forced to make the difficult decision to terminate the employment of all its employees, effective immediately, on Nov. 21, 2022.

A text message reportedly sent to employees read:
