Former Fox News host and pundit, Chris Wallace, has a new show on CNN and HBO Max called Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace.

The debut featured interviews with several celebrities and former Supreme Court Justice, Stephen Breyer.

From the Hill:

Longtime cable news anchor and pundit Chris Wallace is stepping outside the realm of politics with the debut of a new show that will air for the first time Sunday evening on CNN.

The first installation of “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” features interviews with celebrities Tyler Perry and Shania Twain as well as former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

As part of the new show’s rollout, Wallace also interviewed former professional baseball player-turned-business mogul Alex Rodriguez, a conversation which will air in the coming weeks.

The ratings for the show bombed.

Nielsen Media Research tracked ratings for Wallace’s show, and it doesn’t look too good for the former Fox News host. The ratings showed that there were only 401,000 viewers, 29% below the average, and 44,000 among those aged 25 to 54, 64% below the average.

Ouch.

Fox News’ Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy crushed Chris Wallace’s show with 1.3 million viewers tuning in.

Wallace’s show initially launched in the spring on the streaming service CNN+, but Discovery decided to cancel the service one month after its debut, as few viewers showed an interest in subscribing.

It looks like Wallace’s new endeavor is turning out to be a failure as well.

Twitter users noted that Chris Wallace, apparently, needed Fox News, it didn’t need him.
