Corrupt leftist Judge Juan Merchan delayed President Trump’s “hush money” sentencing to September 18.
Earlier on Tuesday, Alvin Bragg indicated that he was “open to delaying” Trump’s sentencing, initially set for July 11, following the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity.

On Monday, the United States Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Trump has absolute immunity concerning his core Constitutional powers.
In response, President Trump sought to overturn his conviction, citing the Supreme Court’s ruling that grants him immunity for official acts.
In May, Trump was found guilty on all 34 felony counts in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case.
Trump’s legal team argued that portions of Bragg’s case involved Trump’s actions during his presidency, and the Supreme Court’s ruling on immunity prevents prosecutors from using that evidence.
Judge Merchan stated that he will issue a decision related to the presidential immunity argument on September 6.

The judge in Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial on Tuesday approved a delay of the former president’s sentencing after his lawyers asked for more time to review the potential impact of the Supreme Court’s immunity decision.
Trump’s lawyers have indicated that they want Judge Juan Merchan to toss out Trump’s felony conviction on 34 counts of falsified business records related to hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. The hearing, previously scheduled for July 11, will be delayed until at least September 18.
Trump’s team on Monday sent a letter to Merchan asking to brief him on the Supreme Court’s Monday ruling, which said that the former president has some immunity from prosecution related to his “official” acts as president. The ruling was a blow to prosecutors in Trump’s federal election interference case, but it’s not exactly clear how it will affect the other criminal cases against him.
