Two healthcare workers were arrested after live-streaming themselves abusing an elderly woman with dementia and live-streaming the abuse because it was “funny”, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said.
The live-stream video shows two women verbally abusing and taunting the woman who also has dementia.
As Fox News reported, the first suspect, 18-year-old Jada Harris, was arrested for video voyeurism, abuse, and neglect of elderly or disabled adult, and interception or disclosure of wired communications. Her bond has been set at $6,000.
The second woman, 20-year-old Shy’Tiona Jazziemysha Bishop, was arrested by police for video voyeurism and abuse and neglect of an elderly or disabled adult. Her bond is $4,000.
The facility told deputies they were not aware that the abuse was taking place.
Both women were fired immediately, the sheriff’s office said.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey did not hold back his disgust while announcing the arrests of the two sick individuals, calling them “pieces of crap” and saying that if it were up to him, he would set their bond to “when hell freezes over”.
I’m disgusted. The perpetrators in this case are not only disgusting but they are vile individuals who livestreamed themselves abusing one of our elderly citizens who suffers from dementia.
Even worse, they are two health care workers that were entrusted to take care of this lady at a local facility…
They actually put it up on a livestream platform so that their friends could watch it, laugh about it, as they mocked this elderly person.
It’s hard to imagine that there are people in this world that would do such a thing.
As you watch this video, think about the abuse this poor lady went through at the hands of these of these two disgusting individuals. My only hope is that these two live long enough in life, I doubt it as stupid as they are, I don’t know that they’ll make it that far. But if they do, I hope someone pays it forward in response to their actions and how they treated this lady…

The irony of this, is that our corrections team, the professionals that they are, these two pieces of crap with professionalism and they’ll do their job, whereas these two were supposed to be taking care of this lady and they didn’t do their job.
Unfortunately, the state sets the bond limits when they’re first arrested. They don’t let us do it, cause I can tell you if they let me do it, the bond would be when hell freezes over.
