Elon Musk announced that he fired James Baker, who was Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, for his role in the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today” Elon Musk said.
Baker was hired by Twitter as deputy general counsel after a short stint in the FBI, where he was allegedly forced out.
Elon Musk said he asked James Baker to explain his decision to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“His explanation was… unconvincing,” Musk said in response to a Twitter user.
