Luxury fashion brand, Balenciaga, is raising concern for children’s safety following the release of their latest ad campaign. In the photos showcased on the brand’s official website, children can be seen carrying teddy bears dressed in bondage-gear.

Social media users were appalled after becoming aware of the ad campaign. Many expressed concerns as the brand seemed to be promoting child p*rnography.

Users relentlessly slammed Belanciaga and questioned the appropriateness of the ad campaign.

One Twitter user pointed out that the photoshoot included poorly hidden court documents relating to a virtual child p*rn case.

Keep Prisons Single Sex USA, a women’s rights campaign group, also tweeted in response to the ad campaign.

This destruction of innocence & normalization of fringe behaviors seems like an effort to make acceptable previously unimaginable scenarios (like men in women’s prisons & shelters / children having “gender identities” / adult-dancing in libraries). None of this is acceptable.

One user wondered if this is the real reason why Belanciaga completely cancelled its Twitter account. It was widely reported recently that the brand cancelled its Twitter account allegedly in protest to Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform.

After receiving seemingly endless backlash, sources claimed that the brand’s Instagram page limited the ability for users to leave comments. However, since then, the brand has deleted the campaign from its Instagram page and the page only features three other posts.
