The political world was rocked on Sunday morning when Joe Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.
Joe Biden has not resigned from the presidency.

Shortly after his announcement, Biden endorsed Kamala Harris as his preferred candidate.

Breaking Digest reported on Thursday that independent reporter Mark Halperin told Newsmax that Joe Biden is expected to drop out of the 2024 presidential race as early as Sunday.
According to Halperin, Biden is not expected to endorse Kamala Harris and will not resign the presidency.
Halperin mentioned that there will be an open convention featuring Kamala Harris and about three other candidates. He suggested potential running mates for Harris, including Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.
