Special Counsel John Durham appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to provide testimony regarding his inquiry into the origins of Spygate.

In his 306-page final report, Durham concluded that neither the FBI nor the Intelligence Community had any actual evidence when it opened up the investigation into President Trump’s campaign.

In July 2016, Peter Strzok initiated a counterintelligence investigation known as “Crossfire Hurricane” targeting Trump’s campaign, based on suspicions that the Russians had infiltrated Trump’s inner circle, despite the absence of any evidence supporting these claims.

No charges were filed by John Durham against any of the FBI officials implicated in the coup.

Kevin Clinesmith, a former FBI lawyer, faced charges for making false statements but received a lenient punishment.

Surprisingly, Durham did not issue subpoenas to individuals such as James Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page, and others to compel their testimony.

RealClearInvestigations reporter Paul Sperry reported that Durham did not interview any FBI officials involved in the targeting of President Trump.

Durham never subpoenaed any of them:

On Wednesday, Durham testified that Comey, McCabe, Page, Strzok and others would not agree to be interviewed by his prosecutors.

“It is as disappointing, perhaps more disappointing to me and my colleagues, that they would not agree to be interviewed,” Durham said.

“Some of them had a lot to say publicly, but they refused to be interviewed,” he said.
