On Tuesday, Special Counsel Durham is scheduled to testify in a closed-door session with the House Intelligence Committee. Following that, on Wednesday at 9 am, there will be a public hearing with the House Judiciary Committee. Both committees, under Republican leadership, have requested Durham to explain the findings of his exhaustive four-year investigation into false accusations of collusion between President Trump and Russia. In May, Durham released a comprehensive 306-page report, which determined that the FBI proceeded with its investigation despite lacking any substantial evidence of a connection.
Watch:
From Durham’s final report:
FBI records prepared by Strzok in February and March 2017 show that at the time of the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI had no information in its holdings indicating that at any time during the campaign anyone in the Trump campaign had been in contact with any Russian intelligence officials.
During his investigation, Durham discovered significant findings. Firstly, he revealed that the Obama administration had pursued a surveillance warrant targeting a foreign policy advisor to Trump. Additionally, he determined that the charges presented in the widely known Steele dossier, which accused Trump of wrongdoing, lacked substantiation. Notably, the FBI offered former British intelligence official Christopher Steele a substantial sum of $1 million to validate the claims in the dossier, but he was unable to do so. Furthermore, Durham reported that former vendors associated with the Hillary Clinton campaign declined to provide the requested documents for his investigation.
President Trump has consistently criticized previous attempts by the Clinton campaign to attribute criticism of Joe Biden and his crackhead son Hunter to “Russian disinformation.” Recently, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, under the Biden regime, refuted involvement in the orchestrated effort to discredit Hunter’s infamous “Laptop from Hell” by gathering numerous former intelligence officials.
The bombshell report released by Durham serves to validate many of President Trump’s claims regarding an ongoing “witch hunt” that originated in 2016 and continues to this day. The forthcoming testimony this week will provide House Republicans with additional leverage in their pursuit to impeach FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, as well as defunding the Bureau.
