On Thursday, a judge ordered the Department of Justice to publicly release a redacted version of the affidavit it relied on when the FBI raided President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. It will likely be heavily redacted.

The order from Judge Bruce Reinhart came after federal law enforcement officials submitted the portions of the affidavit that they want to keep secret. The judge set a deadline of noon Friday for a redacted version of the document to be released publicly.

The public could soon get some details about what prompted FBI officials to raid Mar-a-Lago as part of an investigation into “classified documents” being retained at the Palm Beach property. Documents already made public show that the FBI retrieved 11 sets of documents they are calling classified, including information marked at the top-secret level.

When speaking with Mark Levin, host of the Mark Levin Show on Fox news, former Senior Advisor to President Trump and American attorney, Kash Patel, said that the President is the sole and universal arbiter in classification or authority in the United States of America.

“If he says that a document is declassified or a set of them, that is it, there is no written material required. That is a fiction being created by the fake news and the radical left.”

“In October of 2020 Trump put out, for the world to see, a sweeping declassification order… and he did it via social media. Every single Russiagate doc, every single Hillarygate doc, EVERY ONE.”
