In Baltimore, Maryland, Democrat soft-on-crime policies have tragically resulted in the loss of a young woman’s life on Monday morning. Law enforcement is actively seeking the individual they say is responsible for her death.
According to a report by CBS News Baltimore, Pava LaPere, a 26-year-old CEO of a technology company in Baltimore, was found dead at a residence in Mount Vernon. Police received a call around 11:30 a.m. regarding the incident, which occurred at an apartment building on the 300 block of West Franklin Street.
Authorities have determined that the cause of LaPere’s death was blunt force trauma, and a homicide investigation is currently underway.
As reported by the New York Post, it remains unclear whether LaPere had any visitors prior to her death.
LaPere was a co-founder and the leader of EcoMap, a company renowned for its proprietary technology that specializes in digitizing ecosystems. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Forbes 30 Under 30 award in the social impact category in 2023.
Ecomap Technologies is known for its woke principles. As highlighted by The New York Post, LaPere proudly stated on her LinkedIn profile that the company maintains a workforce that is “50% female, 50% people of color.”
Chris McNees, a resident in the same building, expressed his bewilderment to CBS News Baltimore, saying it was “hard to imagine why” a death like that would happen.
Ecomap Technologies issued the following statement expressing their condolences for the loss of LaPere:
The circumstances surrounding Pava’s death are deeply distressing, and our deepest condolences are with her family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly devastating time. Pava was not only the visionary force behind EcoMap but was also a deeply compassionate and dedicated leader. Her untiring commitment to our company, to Baltimore, to amplifying the critical work of ecosystems across the country, and to building a deeply inclusive culture as a leader, friend, and partner set a standard for leadership, and her legacy will live on through the work we continue to do.
