President Trump has been indicted, YET AGAIN, this time related to Jack Smith’s investigation into the January 6th fedsurrection.
Trump faces four counts in the latest indictment (election interference): conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
There are also six unnamed co-conspirators.
The case has been “randomly” assigned to Judge Tanya Chutkan, appointed by Obama, who has been known as the “toughest punisher” of January 6 defendants.
But that’s not all.
According to a recent investigation by the Daily Caller Foundation, the Obama-appointed judge presiding over the latest criminal indictment (election interference) against President Trump was previously a prominent attorney at the law firm that had employed Hunter Biden during his tenure on the board of directors at Burisma.
Prior to her appointment as U.S. District Judge in Washington, D.C. by former President Barack Obama in 2014, Tanya Chutkan had a successful legal career, notably spending a decade at Boies, Schiller, & Flexner LLP (BSF). During her time at the firm, she focused on white-collar litigation and antitrust defense. Interestingly, her tenure at BSF coincided with Hunter Biden’s employment at the same firm, during which he reportedly developed connections with attorneys to aid Burisma in expanding its influence in Washington, as indicated by emails obtained from Hunter’s laptop.
In a series of emails exchanged between Hunter Biden and his business associate Devon Archer, the two discussed how Hunter’s work for Boies, Schiller, & Flexner LLP (BSF) could potentially offer them “protection” as they facilitated meetings between then-Vice President Joe Biden and Burisma executives, who were under investigation for corruption.
“BSF can actually have direct discussions at state, energy and NSC. They can devise a media plan and arrange for legal protections and mitigate US domestic negative press regarding the current leadership if need be,” Biden told Archer.
“The contract should begin now – not after the upcoming visit of my guy. That should include a retainer in the range of 25k p/m w/ additional fees where appropriate for more in depth work to go to BSF for our protection. [Completely] separate from our respective deals re board participation,” Biden added.
Within the circle of BSF attorneys connected to Hunter Biden, two notable figures were Christopher Boies and Heather King. King, in particular, served as the firm’s primary contact with the State Department while advocating on behalf of Burisma’s founder, Mykola Zlochevsky. King even proposed that Zlochevsky enlist professional lobbyists, a PR firm, and an investigative research firm to strengthen their influence campaign.
During last week’s testimony, Archer confirmed that Joe Biden, while serving as vice president, was included in numerous business meetings with his son Hunter’s foreign business associates. Some of these meetings involved Burisma executives, who are accused of bribing the vice president in return for assistance in removing a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the company’s corruption.
