Officials have confirmed that an overnight fire has engulfed the Bowling Green office of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

The commercial building which houses Sen. Paul’s office suffered extensive damage, including a collapsed roof.

Around 1:45 a.m., the Bowling Green Fire Department responded to reports of a serious fire at Sen. Rand Paul’s downtown office location. The local office was engulfed in heavy smoke and flames upon the firefighters’ arrival, leading them to request additional units for assistance, as stated by Public Information Officer Katie McKee.

The building served as a key location for several offices, including Senator Rand Paul’s office, the law firm Kerrick Bachert, and Dezign Tees, a well-known local business. The fire subsequently extended to nearby buildings downtown, as reported by Bowling Green Daily News.

McKee confirmed reports that the roof collapsed and described the difficulties encountered by firefighters while contending with the blaze.

Currently, authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, which remains unknown. It is still unclear in which building the fire initially started.

Earlier this week, Sen. Paul criminally referred Anthony Fauci to the DOJ for lying to Congress regarding his role in funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, which is likely what led to Covid-19.

Sen. Paul provided the following statement to Bowling Green Daily News:

“We are thankful for the Bowling Green first responders who arrived quickly to the scene to put out the fire, and are continuing to work with authorities to assess damages and to determine a cause. We have a very well established emergency management plan and have the ability to continue operations that will not impact our work helping Kentuckians.”

From Bowling Green Daily News:

An early morning fire tore through a commercial building on State Street Friday, leading to a roof collapse and heavy damage in the structure, which is home to Sen. Rand Paul’s Bowling Green local office.

According to Katie McKee, public information officer for the Bowling Green Fire Department, no injuries were reported.

McKee said emergency personnel responded to the blaze around 1:45 a.m., noticed the heavy fire and called for additional units.

“And we have just been working on this structure fire ever since,” she said Friday morning.

McKee said the structure no longer has a roof, confirming that it had collapsed.

Friday’s sunrise had to compete with the plume of gray smoke spewing out the top of the structure, home to Paul’s office, the law office of Kerrick Bachert, and Dezign Tees.

What a coincidence, right after filing charges on Fauci.
