Congressional Republicans are seeking to investigate the origins of nearly $10 million deposited into Joe Biden’s shell company, CelticCapri Corp, as reported by Just the News. This investigation is connected to allegations of a pay-for-play scheme involving a Ukrainian national, which may shed light on how the Biden family’s income surged from $400,000 in 2016 (the last full year of Biden’s vice presidency) to $11 million in 2017.
According to The Associated Press, a significant portion of the family’s income was attributed to Joe Biden’s memoir, Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose. However, as pointed out by Bob Anderson from The Federalist, the substantial book deal alone would not account for millions of dollars in income. Anderson stated that even with approximately 300,000 books sold and a blended royalty rate, Joe Biden would have received around $800,000 to $1 million in income. This falls significantly short of the reported $8 million figure.
Additionally, there are allegations dating back to 2017 from an FBI informant that a $10 million bribe was paid to the Biden family. The bribe was intended to leverage Joe Biden’s political influence as Vice President to pressure the Ukrainian government into removing Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating corruption allegations involving Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company where Hunter Biden was employed. Shokin was ultimately fired in 2016.
These revelations have raised concerns among several Republican lawmakers. Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) expressed his concerns regarding the connection to CelticCapri Corp, stating in a tweet, “It would shock no one in this town if Joe Biden received millions of dollars from selling out the country in a bribery scheme and then hid that money in shady shell companies.”
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) echoed Crane’s sentiments, emphasizing the need for more whistleblowers to come forward and reveal the truth about the extensive corruption within federal agencies and mainstream media. In a tweet, he stated, “For years I’ve been saying there is a much larger story than Biden family corruption. The corruption inside our federal agencies and MSM is extensive. We need more whistleblowers to come forward and tell us the truth. That is the only way to restore integrity and credibility.”
According to Wendell Husebø: “Joe Biden could be hiding his alleged $5M payment from Bursima in his entity ‘CelticCapri’ & Jill Biden’s entity ‘Giacoppa Corp’. The numbers below in his 2017 tax return don’t provide revenue line items accounting for about $10M. Joe Biden must disclose who paid him & for what.”
James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, highlighted that the concern extended beyond the corrupt deal involving the Bidens, emphasizing the alleged institutional cover-up by the FBI. In a tweet, he stated, “The Bidens received millions from foreign adversaries but still won’t tell the American people what they were selling. Now whistleblowers have revealed a Justice Department cover up. This is public corruption at the highest level.” Comer assured that his committee is committed to ensuring accountability and pledged to take appropriate actions.
Investigative journalist Kanekoa The Great meticulously examined the claims and provided a detailed analysis of the financials. Additionally, Jesse Watters conducted an analysis of the alleged bribery scandal involving the Bidens.

The tax return has come under renewed scrutiny after it was revealed earlier this year that an FBI informant came forward in 2017 with allegations that two Biden family members were paid $10 million in exchange for having Biden use his influence to pressure the government of Ukraine to fire then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was probing the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings where Hunter Biden worked.
