A recent report from Fox News has uncovered that the J6 Committee, known for its hate of President Trump, quietly deleted over 100 potentially damning pieces of evidence just days before the GOP took control of the House of Representatives.
According to the news outlet, the House Administration Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee, headed by Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), is spearheading an investigation into the events of January 6, 2021. The focus is on the security failures that occurred that day and the conduct of the previous sham committee that investigated the Capitol protests.
The former J6 Select Committee, led by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), was obligated by law to hand over all documents from its investigation to the new panel now led by the GOP. Fox News reports that Thompson assured Loudermilk that he would privide four terabytes of archived data.
Contrary to Thompson’s commitment, it was later revealed that he lied to the GOP-led panel, which ultimately received less than half of the pledged material.
The House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, assisted by the digital forensics team, is actively recovering 117 encrypted files that were deleted by the J6 Committee.
Republican Representative Morgan Griffith of Virginia, a member of the subcommittee, confirmed the deletion of the files but noted that the content remains unknown at this time.
Loudermilk remarked, “It’s obvious that Pelosi’s Select Committee went to great lengths to prevent Americans from seeing certain documents produced in their investigation.”

From Fox News:
The former House Select Committee on Jan. 6 deleted more than 100 encrypted files from its probe just days before Republicans took over the majority in the House of Representatives, Fox News Digital has learned.
The House Administration Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee is leading an investigation into Jan. 6, 2021, led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga. The panel is investigating the security failures on that day, as well as the “actions” of the former select committee investigating the Capitol riot.
Loudermilk, last week, told Fox News Digital his investigation has entered a “new phase” with renewed support from House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who has committed additional resources to the panel’s investigation.
Sources familiar with Loudermilk’s investigation told Fox News Digital that, per House rules, the former select committee, which was chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., was required to turn over all documents from its investigation to the new, GOP-led panel, after Republicans secured the majority of the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterm elections.
Loudermilk has sent a letter to Rep. Thompson, requesting a list of passwords for all password-protected files created by the J6 Select Committee to ensure proper archiving. Loudermilk has also sent letters to the White House and the Department of Homeland Security, seeking “unedited and unredacted transcripts” of their testimonies to the former select committee. Despite the existence of these transcripts, they were never handed over to the J6 Select Committee.
Loudermilk has set a deadline of January 24 for the White House and DHS to comply with his demand.
It’s obvious that Pelosi’s Select Committee went to great lengths to prevent Americans from seeing certain documents produced in their investigation. It also appears that Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney intended to obstruct our Subcommittee by failing to preserve critical information and videos as required by House rules.
The American people deserve to know the full truth, and Speaker Johnson has empowered me to use all tools necessary to recover these documents to get the truth, and I will.
Julie Kelly highlights that the actions taken by the J6 committee exemplify clear obstruction and contempt of Congress. Additionally, she underscores that the decision to delete evidence is driven by the fact that the withheld information is devastating to the narrative surrounding the events of that day.
This isn’t just about the public’s right to know. It is about J6 defendants’ rights to access potentially exculpatory evidence produced by this committee.

The only reason Dems would conceal/destroy/delete evidence is bc it’s devastating to the J6 narrative.
