On Wednesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced that Kevin McCarthy has given three more news outlets unfettered access to the J6 footage.
Rep. Greene noted that the outlets would start reporting on the footage Thursday.
“I’m excited to share the good news that just as I promised the J6 tapes are being released!” Greene tweeted. She went on to name two of the outlets: John Solomon Reports and Julie Kelly. The third outlet is yet to be disclosed.
I’m excited to share the good news that just as I promised the J6 tapes are being released! @SpeakerMcCarthy has given @jsolomonReports, @Julie_kelly2, and a third outlet unfettered access to the J6 tapes, and their reporting on it starts tomorrow. This is the transparency the American people deserve and I look forward to their reporting!
Last month, several news organizations filed a lawsuit demanding access to the footage that Kevin McCarthy gave to then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
The Biden administration has been accused of withholding vital information and pushing a false narrative of what happened that day.
Twitter users pointed out the suspicious timing of the move.
Is the move by McCarthy an effort to distract us from the fight over the debt ceiling bill? Or to appease those who have threatened to remove him as Speaker of the House if the debt ceiling bill gets pushed through?
Hopefully, the release of this footage will, finally, shed light on the truth.
