On Friday morning, Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) appeared on Mornings with Maria hosted by Maria Bartiromo. In their conversation, Rep. Steube outlined a timeline for the much-anticipated impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden.
He pointed out that if the situation were reversed, and it was a Republican president facing such corruption allegations, Democrats would have already taken swift action to remove them from office. Despite the mounting evidence against what he considers the most corrupt individual ever to occupy the White House, Republicans are still just talking instead of taking action.
Rep. Greg Steube:
In my discussions with him [Chairman Comer], the challenge is getting all this subpoena information and financial information from all these different LLCs and banks. So they basically laundered the money in all these different individual LLCs. So you have to do specific subpoenas to those specific LLCs’ bank records. So it’s going to take some time, I would imagine probably the next 30 to 90 days before you’re gonna get that financial information back through the subpoenas. So it should be in the next couple of months. Hopefully by, like, fall, the Comer will have that information. They can move forward in the committee process to investigate it, bring the information before the American people, and I think we move forward with an impeachment proceedings.
It’s important for Republicans to take Biden’s crimes seriously and act without further delay.
