This is a breaking story…please check back for updates.
On Friday, a protester, allegedly an “investigative researcher” named Max Azzarello, set himself on fire outside the Trump “hush money” trial in Manhattan, New York.
The New York Post reported that he was rushed to the hospital, but his condition remains unknown.
This incident occurred as jury selection for Trump’s Stormy Daniels trial wrapped up and the trial was under way.
According to Fox News, the man approached Trump supporters, tossed “colorful pieces of paper” in the air, shouted something, then doused himself in gasoline and set himself on fire.
The colorful pages reportedly linked to a manifesto posted on his Substack that warned of an “apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
A bystander with a fire extinguisher hurried to extinguish the flames as the protester screamed in pain.
