Harris County, Texas has become one of the latest to come under investigation for election misconduct.

Texas Governor Abbott has since called for an investigation into Harris County’s election procedures — citing potential criminal conduct:

The county in question includes the city of Houston, a major metropolitan area represented in Washington by several different congressional districts that include part of the county’s boundaries.
Abbott pointed to “missing keys, insufficient paper ballots in Republican precincts, staffing problems,” and other issues that plagued voters throughout the electoral process.
According to The Epoch Times:
The Harris County GOP on Monday announced a lawsuit against local election officials in a bid to expose what they say are systemic issues with how county officials have been running elections.
“We’re doing this in order to shed light on what has been happening, how Harris County actually runs their elections,” said Harris County GOP Chair Cindy Siegel at a press conference.
