On Sunday, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) took to Twitter to announce that Joe Biden has officially lawyered up.
While he did not provide further details, Issa’s tweet coincided with the recent disclosures from the House Ways and Means Committee. The committee unveiled the contents of a WhatsApp message between Hunter Biden and Chinese businessman Henry Zhao. In this message, Hunter Biden makes an explicit threat, stating that Joe Biden, who was purportedly sitting beside him, would “destroy” Zhao unless prompt payments to the Bidens were arranged.
The president, his son, and various family members have been implicated in a major international pay-to-play scandal spanning multiple years, with tens of millions of dollars being exchanged.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) corroborated the report that Joe Biden has hired a criminal defense lawyer, saying, “Joe Biden finally made a good decision… and that was that he hired an attorney.”
