The Post Millennial reported:
Chris Christie is reportedly dropping out of the 2024 Republican primary race.
The news comes following days of speculation that he would soon be throwing in the towel amid pressure from New Hampshire Governor Sununu and others to give up his pursuit of the presidency.
According to journalist Mark Halperin, sources familiar with the matter said that Christie’s campaign will be making an announcement at 5 pm EST.
On Tuesday, Sununu claimed that members of Christie’s leadership team were “having those discussions with him,” referring to dropping out.
“He has no ground game,” the governor added. “He’s not even trying, even in the next two or three days, he could be here doing 10 events a day — he’s doing like two … He’s running out of resources, he’s not campaigning in any other state. I think those discussions are happening.”
