On Monday, another mass shooting occurred that left at least five people dead and six injured in Louisville, Kentucky.
The gunman opened fire in the Old National Bank in downtown Louisville.
The Louisville Metro Police Department announced the incident occurred in the 300 block of East Main and there are multiple casualties.
The shooter, identified as Connor Sturgeon, reportedly worked at the bank and identified as he/him. His preferred pronouns were listed in his bio.
Connor posted anti-Trump and pro-lockdown posts on social media. Obviously, that isn’t the narrative authorities will want to propagate, so they’ve already started to wipe his social media accounts.
His Twitter account has already been nuked.
Although authorities have not given an official motive for the shooting, there are rumors online that it’s tied to trans protests and bills that have passed.
Prior to the mass shooting, Sturgeon allegedly sent a text message to a friend expressing suicidal thoughts and a desire to “shoot up the bank.”
“They won’t listen to words or protests, Let’s see if they hear this,” Sturgeon posted on his Instagram account minutes before the shooting.
Additionally, he posted, “Monday vibes”, and then “I could burn this whole place down.”
